Over the next few years OPAL will run five surveys across England to learn more about our environment, and they'd like everyone get involved!
The Open Air Laboratories (OPAL) network is an exciting new initiative that is open to anyone with an interest in nature.
Soils and earthworms is the first of their surveys, and you can join in now - as it's open from March to May. After this you can help them explore the health of our lakes, changes in biodiversity and the impact of air pollution and climate change.
Get involved today by visiting www.opalexplorenature.org. All ages and abilities can take part and your contribution will be important in helping scientists build up a picture of England's natural environment. They'll provide easy to follow survey instructions and all the support you need.
